Description

Some students with disabilities need accommodations or modifications in their educational programs in order to be successful in school. Accommodations and modifications are types of adaptations that are made to the environment, curriculum, instruction, or assessment practices in order for students with disabilities to be successful learners and to participate actively with other students in the general education classroom. Accommodations or modifications should be written into a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). This packet will provide examples of accommodations and modifications along with resourceful checklists.
