The following communication was just released from the Tennessee Department of Education.
Due to the rising cases of COVID-19 across the state, many local education agencies (LEAs) are implementing their continuous learning plans (CLPs) to ensure students continue to receive instruction during this time. As a reminder, none of the LEA requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) have been waived. The Tennessee Department of Education would like to provide the reminders in the attached memo regarding the provision of special education services during this time.
