Webinar with Legislators:

  1. How will I get the webinar link?
  2. Will there be captioning?
    • Yes! We use an automated captioning software. You can turn on automated captions when you are on zoom.
  3. Will there be an ASL interpreter?
    • Yes! We will have an ASL interpreter for the webinar. When you get on zoom, make sure you are in “gallery view” (select “gallery view” from the upper right corner). Then click the interpreter’s video and select the “more” button (the three dots). Select “pin video.” This will allow you to see the interpreter throughout the webinar, regardless of who is speaking.  If you need help, ask! We will have staff on standby ready to help.
  4. Is there anything I need to do to prepare ahead of time for the webinar?
    • Nope, just make sure you RSVP by February 12th to receive the zoom link.
  5. How do I request accommodations?
    • You can request accommodations when you RSVP before the February 1st deadline. We will do our best to meet your needs but ask that you make your request in advance of our deadline so we have time to make it happen.
