About this Webinar

Do you care for or support someone who is often frustrated, over-stimulated, and/or has challenging behaviors?  Do you feel overwhelmed with what you can do that might help? In Brain Links’ third in our series of webinars in partnership with DCS, whether the person has sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) or may have other psychosocial issues, we can give you strategies you may not have considered. Knowing what the behavior is telling you is key to respond and move forward. We will talk about why you need to act now to address behaviors to help the person learn to help themselves. If you have not learned about it before, let us prepare you with de-escalation techniques to improve daily life. Things can improve if you know where to start and how to access support from research-based practices. We will discuss interventions for different types of behaviors in children and share user-friendly tools for parents and professionals.
