About this Webinar

In Brain Links’ second in our series of webinars in partnership with DCS, we will be discussing cognitive changes. Cognition is about much more than just thinking. It is a process that involves many functions of your brain working well and working together. If you care for or work with someone with cognitive changes; including trouble with attention, problem-solving, judgment, then let us help you to dig deeper than their challenges to the why behind them. Once you begin to understand the reasons for the issues they face, you are better prepared to spend your time on strategies (some are easy!) that are the right fit for that person. We will dive deep into cognition and strategies based on three case study examples. We will make the connection with cognition and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and review helpful tools and resources that you can use for school-age children and adults. Bring your questions!
