Tennessee’s Katie Beckett Program is for children with disabilities or complex medical needs who are not currently Medicaid eligible due to their parent’s income or assets. The program has two parts. Part A provides Medicaid services to children with the most significant needs. Part B is a Medicaid diversion program, meaning that children are not enrolled in Medicaid but receive a capped package of support of up to $10,000 each year to help cover costs. Listen to representatives from Family Voices of Tennessee as they discuss this valuable program and answer your questions.
Presenters:
- Kara Boo, Director, Family Voices of Tennessee
- Sara Scott, Advocate, Family Voices of Tennessee
